I bought my first mountain bike in 2020 during COVID after watching some videos on YouTube. Whilst my skills haven't improved much since then I still love the sport!
Pub quizzing 🧠🍻
I first start going to a pub quiz in September 2023 with Craig and Rico at the Paisley Craft Beer pub. This was on every two weeks were we'd be joing by other people each time. We moved the quizzing at Two Towns Down Brewery once the Paisley Craft beer shut down which is on the lats Friday of each month. Craig and I are always there with Stacey and Rachita coming along when they are free! Luck for us we meet a great team and more often than not walk away with the £50 voucher prize money to spend the next time 💸
Munro bagging
I have been slowly attempting to bag as many Munros as possible 🏴 Current count: 26/282
St Mirren & Scotland
Whilst I supported Rangers when I was young I switched to my local team St Mirren at the age of 16. I've always been a massive Scotland fan and after years of not qualifying for tournaments I was lucky enough to travel to London for the 2020 Euros and Germany for the 2004 Euros and even attended the opening game against 🇩🇪 and our second game against 🇨🇭

I started to get into rugby when I was in my early 20s after watching some 6 nations games on the BBC. The sport grew on me massively over the next 10 years and it's probably the stop I enjoy watching the most. One of my favourite times of the year is when the six nations begins and you can head out to the pubs in the horrible weather to watch Scotland 🏴

My first memory of owning a console was a Playstation 1 that my dad brought home one day. He had bought the console for himself but I'm not sure how much he actuallu got to play it after Stacey and I got our hands on it! After that I got a PS2 after playing GTA 3 at a friends house and thinking it was the greatest thing ever. I'd also have many sleepovers at Michaels where we would play Killzone and Freedom Fighters. I then got an Xbox 360 where I start my long love for the Call of Duty series with the first Modern Warfare game. Next up was the Playstation 4 and then the Xbox S. I still enjoy playing Call of Duty, Battlefield and the occasional game of Fifa. I've also owned many portable game devices over the years; the Gamboy Color, Gameboy Advance and the PSP. I more recently bought the Meta Quest VR headset but sold it less than a year. Stacey also owned a Nintendo Wii which was great fun. One of the peak gaming periods was during COVID. Call of Duty released Warzone for the first time and since no one could leave the house we played this for hours each night. The game was amazing but it was even better having the boys on each night having a laugh 🪖😄
Exercising 🏋🏼🏃🏼
I have started going to the gym aged 17 and never really stopped. I've always enjoyed lifting weights and keeping myself it good shape! I ran in the Paisley 10k in 2025 and got a time of 50.20. I also enjoyed playing football and badminton ⚽🏸
